Do the calories count if you don't remember eating it?

If you know me, you know I love avocados.  I just made a bowl of guacamole and sat down at the computer to catch up on my blog reading.
I think it was good.  I don't really remember eating it.  How sad is that?

Surely there were chips involved. There has to be salty-crispiness to go with the green-greasiness of the avocadoness. I don't eat mindlessly. I remember and worry over every last morsel that I stuff in my mouth. It doesn't keep me from eating like a starved castaway, however. I'm conscious all the way. Ugh!

You silly! No, it doesn't count because it's St. Patrick's Day and the Leprechauns ate it! :)

Definitely something I would do...I have just about given up on weight loss...just not happening. I guess my running is just keeping me from gaining which is better than nothing I tell myself..

I didn't use to think so, but now I have this big butt following me every where I go!

Years ago a friend of my Mom's said (regarding eating corn, and not thinking she should get fat from it) "but I don't use any butter" and my Mom always the kind one replied "neither do pigs", I'm just sayin.........

Of course it doesn't count. Out of sight out of mind, NOT that I'm saying you're out of your mind, but, hmmm, where was I going with that?

My husband's theory (that my friends love) is that if you store goodies up high -- like on the top of the fridge -- all the calories disappear and you can enjoy to your heart's content. Don't know where he got that idea from but sounds good to me.

Blessings, Ann

I agree if you don't remember they shouldn't count. We love avocados too. My little one eats guac. by the bowlful. Hubby just climbed his folks tree to get the last of the avaocados down for the year. It was scary. All for a few avocados.
