My Latest Obsession

Trying to eat healthy has taken it's toll on me.
Oh, how I miss those days of snacking on potato chips and Skittles.
I have found something, however, that I wanted to share with you.
It's been a lifesaver at 10:00 am, when I'm hungry and it's too early for lunch.
Roasted Garlic Melba Snacks
4 pieces =
1.5 g fat
10 g carbs
60 Calories
Trader Joes Fresh Bruschetta Sauce
2 TBSP =
2 g fat
1 g carbs
20 Calories
3.5 g fat
11 carbs
80 Calories

Worth every bite!
Sidenote:  I ate 4 Starbursts yesterday and they were worth it too.

Trader Jo's is the bestest store ever! I will have to pick up some of that tomato bruschetta sauce, sounds good. Course I would want it on cream cheese, but hey that's how I roll!

Oh, I'm proud of you. It's so hard to eat the good stuff and stay away from the sweets and goodies. I too, love my goodies.
We don't have a Trader Joe's but my daughter just loves that place! Yum that spread looks good!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Yummy! I haven't seen those crackers, but I have tried the sauce. It is sooooo good!!! I am a sweets-a-holic. Losing weight for me, must include eating some of my favorite sweet things. So I indulge on the real McCoy when I feel the need. Total deprivation doesn't work on this ol gal.
You look great, by the way! said...

Brilliant. Especially with a starburst chaser.

I remember giving Melba Toast to my kids when they were teething. Who knew they were still around?
Your snack looks your 'dessert' afterwards! haa

I quit buying potato chips ages ago, but our daugther was just here visiting and we bought POP CHIPS at the store. They are REALLY tasty and kinda healthy. Reading the package is a kick, too. Whatever little miracle they are using to make these should be given a prize, because they are NOT like our Grandma's chips!

Hope you are having a great day. It's WINDY here in Colorado, so can't go outside! Yikes!!!!

woo hoo..I see Jan is here! She was one of my very first commenters when I started my blog..I don't think I have quit eating since our lunch the other day...not good! I saw a sign in Prescott the other day...they are getting a Trader Joe's! I really won't have to go to Phoenix this summer..unless for lunch, of course...

I see that you live in Peoria; I used to live in Glendale!
