Cooling off and Chickadees

It's quite possible that
Autumn is approaching Arizona.
The temps dip down in the low 70's in the early mornings
and the days are now in the 90's
which is really quite lovely.

I've been doing a little more of this
And I made some homemade marinana
with lots of mushrooms and fresh basil
and froze it in batches.

I received a large envelope in the mail yesterday
and was thrilled to see it was from Laurie.
Laurie blogs over at "How My Time Flys".
Her story is amazing and so inspiring.
She is an extremely talented painter.
She finally got up the nerve to open her Etsy Shop
and I was very excited to be one of her first customers.
I've always loved her paintings of the Chickadees
so that's what I decided to get.
I just love it so much and am planning
on finding a frame for it today.
Visit her Etsy Shop and see
what she has to offer, if you get a chance.
Tell her Holly says "Hiya!"

what a cool bike, If the temps reach 90 here we're all just about dying,I cannot tell you how happy I am that my art print reached you,, you were the first of my customers and I was so happy, thankyou again Holly, I think I dreamt about you and the skunk because I was afraid of my art not reaching you and when it did , you thought it was a stinker,, thats my husbands interpretation,,, I did have trouble sleeping waiting for news of its arrival.i didn't dream about you or skunks last night, just thought i'd let you know! lol

What a relief for the weather to have cooled off a bit. Funny how after it has been in triple digits for so long, 90 feels almost chilly!! So you are biking! Good girl! I am a slug, and must break the cycle.
Love your birdies. Must go see her Etsy shop.
Have a great day.

Only people that live in Arizona would think 90° would be wonderful...even a bit cooler here in Congress...and I don't have to get up at 4:00 to go jogging anymore...yippee!!

Yes, I can be out exercising at all hours now--hahaha! It is cooler. (The funny part is that I don't move too fast at any temp...see, that's the funny--oh, never mind) Love your bike. It's so you. The print is adorable. Look at you all domestic and cooking...yum!

I know, let's ride our cruisers and meet in the middle of Phoenix. It's only about 25 miles for each of us! I love the chicadees.

Oh, how wonderful that your weather is finally breaking. You sure deserve it! We had snow on the mtn tops last night but it's nice today....just love fall.

NICE BIKE! We could ride together!

Ok, now you've done it. I'm trying to be 'good' and then I see the Chickadees. They are my favorite birds that spend the winter here....love their little hats and their cute chirp. Such a pretty painting and what an honor that you were #1 at her shop.

Your sauce looks yummy, too. It's getting that time of year when soups and sauces seem to be on the menu.

Hope all is well computer wise with you.

I think you need a basket and a bell for your bike, then you would be all set. Laurie is quite an artist. I can see why you love that painting; very pretty.

Wow, you dipped below 100! You may need to wear a jacket ;)
And that Laurie, can she ever paint! I know that winter has truly arrived when the chickadees show up at the feeder :)
