Yesterday, Katie went with me to run some errands.
We decided to stop at a thrift store.
I was looking at an old piece of furniture when I heard her voice come from around the corner.
"Jesus is in the trash!"
"What??!!"
I came around the corner and this is what we saw.
Oh man! I didn't need to see that!
I didn't sleep too well last night.
I'm thinking I might need to go back and stage a hostage negotiation.
It kind of puts the whole "WWJD" thing into perspective since that's exactly what He did for me.

I have searched all of the "instructions for the day of..." Like national pickle day, actually pickles get a week, Mother and Father get a day. But anyway, I did not see a "throw Jesus in the trash day". How could this happen?
Holly -
Only you could take a situation like that and see both the humor and the stark truth in it! Thanks for the Good Friday perspective, served with a sense of humor. :)

Oh my! What a sight!
Mah...I am pretty sure that is Willie Nelson not Jesus!

I'm goin' with Billy Rae Cyrus...I don't think I want to think of Jesus in the trash either. You're correct though about remembering the Good Friday thing. Have a good weekend.
I'm gonna go with Willie Nelson too. ;)
Well said Holly!
Hi Holly! Oh, my! That is not a pretty picture! Oh, I'm relieved - I like what Kris said - it's Willie Nelson! :)
Have a blessed Easter.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
