Shut Up....this is how my head works!

Apparently when I was a child I was extremely curious and had to be in the middle of everything. During a family vacation my father had pulled over to get something out of the trunk of the car. When he was finished, he slammed the trunk on my head. He says he immediately felt sick and thought he was going to pass out. I have no idea why my head was in the trunk but I only suffered a small bump and was fine…..or so we thought. Now I’m not saying this is his fault or anything but……I don’t think my head works right.

Where do these random thoughts come from? They wake me up at night. They make no sense yet I can’t get back to sleep. I lie in bed and think about things like:

If it costs $3500 to rent a studio apartment in New York City, why couldn’t I just live in a mini storage unit for $89.95 a month? Many are climate controlled and they have about the same amount of space as that studio.

I’m thinking that I could learn to sleep standing up for $89.95 a month in a prime Upper Eastside location.

Hardwood floors and everything!

Security?  No problemo, I’d have plenty of lovely gated communities to choose from.

No closet space?  Rent the space next to it.  Now we’re at $179.90 a month.
I know what you’re thinking and I’m way ahead of you.  Add $120.00 a month.
 $299.90 a month utilities included.

And yes Holly, I must have shared a similar head trauma experience in my youth. We are scarily attuned to the same random rays from outer/inner space.
