Two Years? No Way! We Should Have A GiveAway!

Shout it out with me!

Two Years??
No Way!!
We Should Have a GiveAway!!

Wasn't that fun?
You can keep doing it if you want to.

Hard to believe that I've been blogging for two years.
And in these past two years, I've opened a whole new world for myself.
I have friends, really good friends, that I never would have met otherwise.

Every single person I've gotten to know here is so special to me.

My sweet painting friend in Canada
who struggles daily with her eyesight.

My loving, creative, hiking,
 red-headed artist in Colorado.

The most amazing, sweet,
cheeseball making girlfriend in California.

The snarky, petite whirlwind
that I know I can call at the last minute
and she'll meet me at a thrift store.

Just too many people to mention.
We have made a connection.
Something clicked between us.
We found common ground.
And we call one another friend.

And for that I am so grateful,
and truly blessed.

That said,
let's have a Craptastic Giveaway!!!!

The last time I had a giveaway
I was offering the stuff I found behind my refrigerator.
That didn't go so well.

Wanna see what I got for you?
Can you guess?
Try.

Nope.

It's this!!

Isn't she beautiful?
She's just like mine.

If you get it we could be twins.
And then we could dress alike
and wear our hair the same way.
And since I'm the only person I know
who doesn't have an accent, I can learn yours.
How fun would that be?

If you want Hilda,
(that's her name, I asked her)
just leave a comment and I'll add your name
to the hat.

If you already have one of these
it would be perfect to re-gift.

Regifting is my middle name.
Actually it's Anne but I like the sound of
Holly Regifting Blevins
much bettter.

Leave me a comment
and I'll have my sister draw a name
when she's here on March 9th.
Because she's much more honest that I am.
And prettier.
And her tummy is flatter.
And everyone knows that those things are
the best criteria for gift picker outters.

If you don't have a blog,
be sure that I have some way to get a hold of you.

Feel free to invite your fellow bloggers
to join in this giveaway!
Unless you don't want the competition,
then just shut up about it.

Holly

Ok - I'll take one. I'm sure you can pull a string. Hahahaha! I've been doing this blogging for five years now. If only I'd quit changing blogs I would have quite a few posts under my belts. You never knew my very first one.

You crack me up. I would be thrilled to have your dryer lint! That looks funny actually written out but I'm pretty sure I could spin it and knit us matching scarves! Besides Hilda is probably the cousin of Minerva (my spinning wheel)

Ooo, I think Hilda would love it here! She'd get along very well with Midge (my new iron). You should totally bribe your sister to pick me :)

Oh Holly....you crack me up. And I feel exactly the same way! You are my soul sister!
Don't put me in the giveaway since I have one, but I wanted comment anyways. I bet you can't wait to have some sissy time! And do you have any idea how much I would love to be able to dash off and meet you at a thrift shop, or for lunch, or a movie...or whatever?
The curtain I made was not from your shower curtain, although I did hem and haw before I began. I wound up using that dust ruffle I showed you, since it was basically already gathered and only needed a bit of sewing. I think I am going to use your shower curtain for something else. May even use it to back a quilt. Haven't decided yet.
I was surprised to find out you have been blogging for two years!!! Time flies!
Love ya,
Kris

Two years. Do we ever run out of stuff to talk about? You're posts are to darn funny that I wouldn't want to miss checking in on you. I've never used a Hilda before, so you can drop me in the hat, then we can be twins if I win.

If I win I promise to give Hilda a good home and take her for a spin every now and then!!! The Philly accent is easy, just gotta say "youse guys":@) Congrats on 2 years Holly and thanks for the fun give-away!

Blogging is the greatest thing ever. The buddies found on these pages enriches each of us. Congrats on two years. Quite an accomplishment. Hilda and I would become soulmates, I am sure. There is nothing like her in my neck of the woods. We'll have fun, for sure, doing those things girls like to do. We will really MIX things up around here. I promise you that. So throw my name in the hat. Take care.

Congratulations on the two years, Holly! And please put my name in the hat. I'd love to have Hilda as a member of my family - she can be used for so many things in my new Weight Watchers lifestyle change.

Hi Holly!

Two years--what an accomplishment. I only hope I make it that long. I know I've said it before, but you make laugh every time--we must have the same sense of humor. I hope your sister pulls my name. I could use one of these, and like you said, then we could be Hoosier twins!

I don't have a Hilda, but would love one! Another blogger sent me to your site just tonight or I would have been reading it all along! Hilarious. Need something to take my mind off chronic pain and to know there is still joy out there!

Melynda said...

I bet your Hilda, works better than my Bertha. But then with a name like Bertha, the desire to do a good job can never overthrow the shame of that name.....

nannykim said...

oh, you can add me to the drawing--I have sort of kind of (;0) wanted one of those for a while. I do believe my little masher thingy works fairly well, but this looks like it would work much better!

Hilda looks like she would belong here. But I'll still keep reading whether I win her on not. You have one of my favorite blogs.

I hardly ever enter giveaways, because I always lose, but I really really want that Hilda. And if it will help,I'll add that you are looking really young, and I'm not just buttering you up (much), you are giving me great motivation to lose weight because I swear you look ten years younger in the photo with your sister. Now I'm hoping that the photo isn't 10 years old and I have just actually unintentionally dissed you.

If I'm not too late, you could add my name to the list. If I'm too late, well I'll just have to go out and find myself a Hilda to play with.
