Totally Random

This post is all over the place.
I don't like to post unless I have something interesting to say.
And I have nothing.

The babies have all hatched and are running amok in the yard.
Baby quail are just the sweetest things ever.
So far we only have one family.

I know these are terrible pictures but they are hard to get close to.
Mom, Dad, and nine babies.

All the birds are loving the quail block Brian put on the back wall.
I think we're going to add another one this weekend.

I just finished planting more flowers,
mowing the yard,
organizing the garage
and baking banana bread
and it's not even 9:00 am.

More random junk:

I finally went and got all my hairs chopped off.
It's a summer ritual.

The following pics were taken with my iPhone
and are not good but I promised pics.

It's choppy and messy and easy.
I like it.

I've also had some of my Weight Watcher Bloggers
ask for pictures.
This is not fun for me.
Partly because I don't like pictures of myself
and partly because I don't like my hips.

Here's a picture of me last September
at BlogSugar with Meg.

Yikes, right?
Here's what I looked like last week before I chopped off my hairs.
-26 lbs lighter.

I think that's about all I've got.
But I did want to share one last picture
that my friend posted on Facebook.
I thought it was sooo funny.

Have a great weekend!!

Holly

Love the hair, but then I really enjoy these random posts. BTW, that Explorer photo is a hoot! If I ever find my camera cord, I will post something, anything.....

You look fabulous girl! I mean, really really cute. I'm jealous of your quail family. We just got a gecko and his cuteness factor doesn't quite measure up.

What is a Quail Block? food???

May I just say that your hair is super cute and sassy!!! It looks very easy-peasy. And may I ALSO say that you look MAV-A-LOUS! CONGRATS on your weight loss, girl. That is quite an accomplishment & you look amazing. And taller somehow!

Good to hear from you...random is good.

Love the haircut ... and way to go, girl, you're lookin' good. Weight Watchers works -- I've lost 39 lbs and still working at it. The lower I go the slower it comes off but it's working.

I was just thinking about the photo that made me realize that I needed to get a grip. I was on a horse with my youngest grandchild. I saw tears in the horse's eyes. He was probably thinking, "Girl, we need to take turns." You really do look fabulous. (And I'm sure the first picture was just at a bad angle.)

Your hair is adorable. I think that car sticker is sad. True maybe but sad. Would some woman really put that on her car for her kids to see.

You are just a beensy little twig of a girl. I love the hair and the quail and the yard and the skinny you. But I love you any way you are. We MUST get together, girl. I'm lonely.

i love the hair and your weight loss is amazing! But I do agree with Elaine...the bumper sticker is degrading for her and her kids. Sometimes all you have left is your dignity...

Look at that skinny-minnie you.
Congratulations!

You are such an inspiration! I have so much to lose (40) that it's hard to look that far ahead. Thanks for sharing the pics, and you look so much younger now.

Also,I almost asked you if quail were the same birds that were in The Partridge Family opening, and then I realized they're caled the PARTRIDGE family, so now I'm not asking you, I'm just letting you know I'm chubby and a little bit thick. :) Enjoy your Sunday!

Holly, VERY COOL about the quail. Love the pics. YOU ROCK with your weight loss. I am down 13 and hoping to hit 15 before Paris. 9 days to go. YOUR HAIR is adorable. I cut mine but it is still a fuzzy mess. IT WAS HOT in Indiana today!

I almost forgot..I love quail. There used to be a few families of them in my parents yard, but they have moved on. I know my Dad misses them.
