It's What's For Breakfast

My favorite thing?
Getting a phone call from my sister.

Since she came to visit in March
we've been spending a lot more time on the phone.
It's always such a joy to see her name pop up
on my caller id.

Yesterday, she told me about a yummy breakfast she made
where she hollowed out a tomato
dropped an egg in
and baked it.
When it was finished she garnished it with some bacon.

It sounded so good.

Our tomatoes have not been too great this year
so I decided to go with my own version.

I used a bell pepper,
one egg,
and some cherry tomatoes, and salt and pepper.

Bake at 425 for about 20 - 25 minutes.

Soooo Good!

The weather here has been up and down.
Many sunny days followed by a few cool rainy days.

I went to the grocery wearing these.
Brian thought I was insane and felt bad
thinking people would make fun of me.

My hair is getting long, shaggy, and too heavy.
Here's what I'm thinking.
I would love your input.

Thoughts?

You would look cute with that cut. Not that you don't now. But you know. I might have to make that peppertomatoeeggsaltpepper thingy. Sorta looks - interesting.

So you want to look like Meg Ryan? Yea, me, too.

Ok, I LOVE shaggy haircuts and I do believe that cut would look quite adorable on you. It's easy to care for and falls into place in the wind. GO FOR IT. And take a photo.

That breakfast looks good enough to eat!

How sweet that you and your sister have been talking so much. Lucky you to have a good friend in her.

AND, your boots are 'in' this year. I saw some at the True Value the other day that were WAY too cute. You're setting a trend!

Have a good weekend and wear your boots while talking to your sister and eating the egg/tomato/pepper thing-y with your new haircut.

Whew.........

The boots are adorable and I know you "pulled it off". As for the hair, seriously...you have such a cute face. I think this hairstyle would suit you perfectly.

That hair would be so cute on you, but I do have a serious question. Do you have to have that intense stare to make the hair? Cause I think that whole stare thing, would take up a lot of energy.....

Egg cup looks gooooood! Love the Wellies!! And I say go for it, on the new do. I had mine done the other day. Was toying with the idea of growing it out some. It had gotten pretty longish. Gennifer talked me into going with one more haircut to give it some shape, and then wait 4 weeks and see if I can keep on growing. I showed her a pic of Lisa Rinna? Sp??? I said...Oh, and I want to look like her too. Minus the ridiculous pouty lips, of course!!

Perfect haircut for you.
I like that it is a photo of M.R. before her horrible plastic surgery. It just plain stole her cuteness.
